Leadership Coaching in a new role
"Helping you in the new role"
Have you ever started a new role, hoping you had a mentor you could call for advice? Leadership Coaching can help you succeed in your new role, by helping you clarify your goals and priorities, engaging with your people with passion and purpose, and of course deliver results.
Executive coaching for leadership consists of a series of one-to-one conversations that are designed to raise an individual's performance at work and help them to tap into their true potential. These conversations will help you or your colleagues to raise self awareness and take responsibility for achieving meaningful outcomes. We help you identify your priorities and learn from your prior experience.
Coaching clients typically figure out what they want to improve when they have a performance review or receive 360° feedback from colleagues. They accept that if they get help with certain issues or problems, then they will be a more effective performer. Some companies also hire a coach to reward their 'high-flyers' and help them achieve even further success.
What are the benefits?
Executive Coaching can be a life changing experience. The benefits of the coaching process will ultimately depend on the development needs of the individual and the issues that they are choosing to work on. Our coaching programmes for leadership can help your employees to:
- Increase self awareness; this helps people to get clear about what they want, how to get there and the issues that may be standing in their way
- Remove the limiting beliefs and fears that hold them back in certain situations (e.g. presenting in public, confronting issues with staff)
- Achieve higher levels of sustainable self confidence and fulfilment
- Become less anxious and stressed
- Become more 'outcome' focused instead of being 'problem' focused
- Engage in their work with more passion and purpose
- Achieve a greater work-life balance
- Become better managers of people
Executive coaching with an Inspiring Potential coach can help you or your colleagues in a number of scenarios, including the following:
- Leadership Development
- Raising Performance
- Stress Management
- Self Confidence
- Improving Management Style
- Resolving Conflict and behavioural problems
- Handling a new role
- Dealing with redundancy
Who is our coaching targeted at?
Our Executive Coaching programmes are typically targeted at the following people:
- CEO's
- Business Owners
- Directors
- Senior Managers
Whilst the above are 'typical', our coaching has also been used with more junior 'high potential' employees or middle managers. Please contact us to discuss your needs if you are uncertain on this point. It is possible that the confidential coaching conversations will venture into personal issues. We believe that this is appropriate if ultimately those same issues are affecting the individual's performance at work.
